Membership is available to all employees of our participating Select Employee Groups (SEG’s) and once you are a member, your immediate family members* can become a member as well.

*immediate family member: The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) defines “immediate family” as spouse (marriage or civil union), child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild. This includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships.

To Become a Member

All you need to become a member is an initial deposit of $5.00 to open a Share Savings Account. This $5.00 deposit represents your “share” of ownership in Central Jersey FCU. An active savings account provides you with a lifetime membership at the credit union and use of all our great products and services – even if you change employers or move.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING AN ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires ALL financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your valid driver’s license or other identifying documents.
